Black Friday In Ekpoma

Not fewer than seven female students of  Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma accidentally fell into a well situated at the female hostel inside the school compound early hours of today. The unfortunate incidence took place when the students were fetching water and doing their morning chores respectively.

Rescue effort by students

According to eye witnesses, three girls were washing on top of the well, which is the hostel's only source of water, while the remaining four were sitting on its top, when all of a sudden the well collapsed and  all the seven girls fell inside it.

Other students around the hostel when the incident occurred rescued 6 of them alive. Unfortunately one died inside the well, one died on the way to the hospital and the remaining five are receiving treatment at the school clinic.
